Cardamom

The “Queen of Spices,” cardamom, is a perennial herbaceous plant with a pseudo stem and thick irregularly formed rhizomes. Cardamom grows wild in Southern India’s Western Ghats. Cardamom is mentioned in several historical literature as a flavoring and medicinal crop.

Nutritional facts of Cardamom

Cardamom is high in vitamins and minerals, as well as fiber. It also contains extremely few carbohydrates and calories. In addition, the rhizomes and the leaves of the cardamom contain essential oils.
